Thorne & Derrick is excited to introduce the latest addition to their security product line: the PIR Motion Detector, specifically designed for use in hazardous environments.
This innovative product can be seamlessly integrated with intruder alarms, access control systems, or lighting control systems, providing a comprehensive security monitoring or energy conservation solution.
The PIR forms part of the SX range, which includes door contacts, sensors, and other intruder detector products - specifically designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, such as the oil, gas, petrochemical, substation battery rooms, and pharmaceutical industries.
SECURITY MOTION DETECTOR - Grade 3
The grade 3 complaint alarm PIR system has been designed for compatibility with industry-standard alarm systems.
The motion detector can communicate tamper and fault states and report detected motion for a highly effective security solution.

The Electromagnetic Door Lock from SecurEx has been specifically designed for use in harsh hazardous (Ex) environments to provide a highly effective security solution.
Elegantly designed with ‘form and function’ in mind, the lock is manufactured from a single solid mono-block of 316L Stainless Steel, and supplied with a 5-metre multi-core user cable as standard.
