WHAT IS A DECONTACTOR?

DECONTACTOR = PLUG + SOCKET + INTEGRAL SWITCH DISCONNECTOR

The MARECHAL® Decontactor is a unique plug and socket assembly with an integral load-break switch – the user can safely and instantly disconnect under full electrical current up to 250Amps using the integral load-break switch. Immediately reconnect under electrical load without requirement to shutdown power unlike traditional hard-wired systems.
