Pepperl Fuchs FXLSCS control stations with Ex e Increased Safety explosion protection can easily be used with operator elements and LED indicators in hazardous area locations, including Zone 1/Zone 2 (gas) and Zone 21/Zone 22 (dust).
Pepperl Fuchs FXLSCS Ex e control stations can be configured to meet the application requirements of the user thanks to a range of control functions, contact blocks, cable glands and further accessories. Care is taken to ensure that the space is used efficiently. The control stations are manufactured from electropolished AISI 316L stainless steel offering corrosion resistance.
FXLSCS control stations are feature a return flange sealing method preventing dirt, dust and moisture from getting in to the enclosure even when the lid is open.
All materials and components of the FXLSCS control stations are manufactured to the highest quality and therefore can be used in ambient temperatures between -40 °C and +55 °C.

An increased safety Ex e control unit is explosion protected by an enclosure which prevents the ignition of potentially explosive gases in hazardous area Zones 1 and Zone 2. The explosion protection concept of Ex e is to prevent sparks and hot surfaces inside and outside the electrical enclosure in normal operations.
