Immersion heaters for Zone 1 and Zone 2 classified hazardous areas provide flameproof heating for gases, oils, heat transfer fluids and corrosive solutions – this includes Zone 1 / Zone 2 (Gas) or Zone 21 / Zone 22 (Dust) or Class I, Division 1 and Division 2.

• EXHEAT HFT is a tamperproof 316L stainless steel construction or the AFT with its externally adjustable design made from cast aluminium
• EXHEAT HIH flameproof transmitter / instrument 316L stainless steel enclosure designed to accommodate most makes of head mounted transmitters such as WIKA, Siemens and Rosemount.

EXHEAT AFT thermostats are supplied in weatherproof or flameproof enclosures to complement our hazardous area heaters. All thermostats are certified for use in hazardous areas and explosive atmospheres where the atmosphere is classified as a Zone 1 or 2 (IIA, IIB, IIC) gas group according to ATEX.
