EXHEAT FP-CA Hazardous Area Flameproof Removable Cartridge Immersion Heater – ATEX Certified Zone 1 & Zone 2
ATEX Immersion Heater | Zone 1 & 2 (IIA, IIB, IIC), Zone 21 & 22 (IIIA, IIIB, IIIC)
EXHEAT FP-CA hazardous area immersion heaters provide certified heating for Zone 1 & Zone 2 (Flammable Gas) and Zone 21 & Zone 22 (Dust) hazardous areas and explosive atmospheres according to ATEX Directive.
The EXHEAT FP-CA offers a hazardous area heating solution for oil and similar applications where low heat density is required. A robust Ex d terminal enclosure protects the electrical connections. The watts density of the element fitted depends upon the media to be heated and the kilowatt rating required.
Typical applications for the EXHEAT FP-CA hazardous area flameproof removable cartridge immersion heater include tank heating for oil and water, frost protection and boiler equipment.
The immersion heater is suitable for applications with ambient temperatures between -60°C to 60°C and the terminal enclosure is certified IP66 and made with either mild steel or 316 stainless steel as specified by the client.
The FP-CA removable cartridge-type immersion heater range is certified for use in hazardous areas where the atmosphere is classified as a Zone 1 or 2 (IIA, IIB, IIC) gas group, or a Zone 21 or 22 (IIIA, IIIB, IIIC) dust group.
