Vandal & Ligature Resistant Shower Panels & Heads
HORNE shower panels are developed for sectors where security is a high priority such as in mental health facilities. Horne shower panels offer the perfect solution for areas at risk of vandalism or self-harm by the user.
Vandal & ligature resistant shower panels & heads are combined with a timed flow control with ligature resistant bezel. A dual mode option with a fixed vandal and ligature resistant shower head, a detachable hose, flow actuator and handset combined with ligature resistant dual controls allows for both unassisted and supervised showering. A pipe cover can also be fitted over the exposed supply pipework above the shower panel or flexible braided hoses can be supplied facilitating concealed hot and cold water supplies
HORNE shower panel design allows users to control both the water temperature, up to a preset maximum, and the flow duration. Minimal torque is required to operate the flow and temperature controls and, for users with limited hand mobility, additional levers can be specified. A robust and simple to use slide bar can also be provided. During commissioning, a maximum water temperature level is set to ensure users do not accidentally exceed safe limits and scald themselves.
