The Hextol Foundation

Thorne & Derrick support The Hextol Foundation, an independent charitable company, with bases in Hexham and Newcastle. They provide supported work placements to people with learning difficulties, mental health concerns; or both. These placements not only help to develop skills and self confidence; they also reduce social isolation whilst demonstrating their excellent standard of work to the general public.

How The Hextol Foundation Do It:

  • Hextol Greenbox – Hextol’s pack and post service which provides services to organisations, charities and businesses all over the country
  • Hextol Gardeners – teams of gardeners led by a RHS qualified Manager. Gardening services include: general maintenance; lawn care; landscaping and tidying in Hexham, the Tyne Valley and Newcastle upon Tyne
  • Hextol Catering – producing fresh, great quality buffets, cakes and bakes serving a range of businesses, individuals and organisations in the local area.
