Drum heaters provide heating protection against frost damage to fluids or heating-up of process liquids – the safe distribution of electrical heat to the drum controls viscosity, prevents freezing and warms contents at elevated temperatures to prevent solidification or thickening impacting negatively upon the product yield during transfer from the drum to point of use.

Industrial & Hazardous Area Drum Heaters

ATEX drum heating solutions are available for hazardous area industries and FDA regulation compliant options for the food industry. Drum heaters are suitable for all types of plastic, galvanised steel and stainless steel from 10 litre (2.6 Gallon) up to 400 litre (105.7 Gallon).

Drum heating jackets are available with ATEX & IECEx certification for use in potentially explosive atmospheres including Zone 1 and Zone 2.

Extensively used in the oil/gas, pharmaceutical, chemical, nuclear, cosmetic and food and beverage industries ensuring the heating and safe storage of drums and IBC containers at low seasonal temperatures.
