The EXHEAT LFH-15 is one of the most powerful ATEX temporary fan heaters on the market, engineered for reliable performance in hazardous area Zone 1 and Zone 2 environments. Unlike conventional temporary heaters, the EXHEAT LFH-15 ATEX Heater provides continuous, uninterrupted heat thanks to patented heating technology capable of raising air temperature by up to 38°C from inlet to outlet. This exceptional ΔT, combined with an airflow of up to 2,240 m³/hr, enables rapid and efficient heating of confined spaces, temporary enclosures, habitats and critical on-site work areas. Its robust stainless steel construction, anti-static castors, lifting handles and full ducting compatibility ensure simple deployment and long-lasting durability in the harshest operating conditions.

HISD drum heaters are insulated heating jackets manufactured from Teflon/polyester and are available in a range of sizes 25, 50, 105, 200 litre for both plastic and steel drums or containers with power outputs up to 1200W – designed to provide reliable electric surface heating to the sides of tighthead and open top drums.

This range of drum heater jackets are ideal for melting or reducing the viscosity of soaps, fats, varnishes and oil based products.

HISD drum heater jackets are fitted with either a 0-40ºC or 0-90ºC adjustable thermostat, a 4 metre power cable and adjustable quick release buckles to secure the jacket to a container.

If faster drum heating is required, the HISD drum heater can be used in conjunction with base drum heaters to significantly reduce heating time – HTSD drum heater is a higher power alternative to the HISD for heating metal drums.

When using HISD heater jackets it is recommended the power is not connected when installing the jacket on an empty drum or one being filled – the unit should only be operated in dry conditions and vented to avoid a build up of internal pressure.

Drum Heater – Side Drum Heating Jacket HISD/D Test Data

The drum heating element is stitched into an insulated jacket manufactured from a flame retardant polyester fabric and insulated with an e-glass fibre blanket, complete with quick release buckles for ease of installation and removal. The heating jacket is double insulated for safety and all HISD Side Drum Heaters are supplied with 4 metres of power cable and fitted with either a 0-+40°C or 0-+90°C capillary thermostat.
