ATEX Call Points Zone 1 & Zone 2 Break Glass Ex d, Ex ia – Eaton MEDC SM87BG Hazardous Area Manual Call Point

Eaton MEDC SM87BG are ATEX call points designed for use in the most arduous environmental conditions. The hazardous area call points are manually operated fire alarms that are both simple to install and maintain.

Intrinsically safe Ex ia and flameproof Ex d versions of each model are available for safely raising the alarm in ATEX & IECEx Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. Both the Ex ia units and the Ex d units have the same external appearance.

A choice of either stainless steel or alloy makes the ATEX call point range suitable for either the offshore or onshore industries. Stainless steel is one of the most durable materials available on the market and is both hard wearing and corrosion resistant. This increases the life of products in harsh environments and therefore reduces maintenance costs.
