The ExStream 400 hazardous area ventilation fan (Woodcock & Wilson) is the higher-capacity option in the ExStream portable range—chosen when the priority is maximum airflow for faster purge, improved air changes and stronger performance through ducting. It supports both extraction and blowing, helping control hazardous gases and vapours in explosive atmospheres across confined spaces and high-risk industrial environments.
For projects where IECEx acceptance is the main driver (including the Middle East), the ExStream 400 offers a globally recognised compliance route while retaining ATEX compliance where specified. Crucially, the unit is independently certified to both electrical and non-electrical (mechanical) standards—supporting safer selection where both electrical ignition and mechanical ignition risks must be considered for portable ventilation equipment.
The fan is simple to deploy on-site: plug & play with integrated stop/start, supplied with a 5m power lead, compatible with hazardous area ventilation fans requirements, and finished to C5M offshore standard for harsh operating conditions.
