The Heatfast High Temperature Drum Heating Jacket HF5-DÂ is a specialist electric drum heater developed for industrial applications where significantly higher heat input is required to process temperature-resistant materials. Designed for use on steel drums, the HF5-D range provides intensive, evenly distributed surface heating for products that demand elevated temperatures to remain workable, including soaps, fats, varnishes, oils and other high-viscosity substances.
Unlike standard drum heating jackets intended for gradual warming, the HF5-D is engineered for high temperature drum heating, incorporating a silicone coated heating element stitched into an insulated silicone coated glass fibre jacket. This construction allows efficient heat transfer directly into the drum wall while maintaining safe external surface temperatures. Available in standard sizes from 25 litres to 210 litres with power outputs up to 1800W, the HF5-D delivers consistent, high-performance heating where rapid heat-up and sustained operating temperatures are essential.
Each HF5-D high temperature drum heating jacket is fitted with an adjustable high-temperature thermostat offering control ranges up to 220°C, making it suitable for aggressive heating duties that exceed the capability of conventional drum heaters. The jacket is fully insulated using an E-glass fibre blanket and secured using robust, adjustable quick-release buckles for fast installation and removal. Supplied as a Class II double insulated heater with a durable 4-metre H07RN-F power cable, the HF5-D provides a reliable and safe solution for demanding industrial drum heating applications.
