VEGA VEGABAR hydrostatic level measurement is a highly accurate method of measuring liquids and in this method, the measuring cell of the pressure transmitter detects even the slightest changes in hydrostatic pressure, which increases or decreases depending on the filling level.
In turn, the acting pressure is converted into an electrical signal by the internal electronics and is then outputted as an output signal.
Various types of measuring cells are used throughout level measurement based upon the hydrostatic principle – this states that the pressure at any point in a fluid at rest is just due to the weight of the overlying fluid.
