Areamaster Generation 2 Series LED Zone 2 Increased Safety Floodlights manufactured by Appleton ATX provide excellent LED performance for hazardous areas designated as Zone 2 (Gas) / Zone 21 and Zone 22 (Dust) locations with three lumen outputs providing up to 19,500 lumens. The redesigned LED floodlight provides greater versatility, with models from 9,000 to 38,000 lumens and a choice of beam patterns with ATEX and IECEx certifications.

The increased safety floodlights, using LED technology, provide HID-equivalent lighting that saves over 75 percent in energy costs and the floodlights are certified for both industrial and ordinary locations and rated for use in NEC and CEC installations. Enclosed and gasketed lighting fixtures suitable for use in a wide range of industrial, chemical processing and other areas where flammable gases and vapours (explosive atmospheres) are present or where wet, dirty and tough environments are a problem:

Appleton ATX increased safety LED floodlighting is also suitable for hazardous area locations requiring dependable, consistent lighting in extreme hot or cold temperature environments. Ambient temperature range -40°C to +65°C (-40°F to +149°F).

LED floodlight – SPECIFICATION

Appleton ATX AMLGL range of LED floodlights are available in 5000K or 3000K colour temperatures.

• Choice of color temperature (CCT); 5000K cool white or 3000K warm white
• Six lumen outputs, ranging from 9,000 to 38,000 lumens, with a choice of optics for optimal light distribution
• Separate field wiring compartment with screw terminal block for easy and secure connection (can accept UL/CSA 26-10AWG)
• Standard 6KV surge protection. Optional 10KV surge protection is also available
• Rugged and compact housing with superior thermal design translates to long floodlight life
• Two 3/4″” NPT entries provided, with option for metric M20 entries
• Field replaceable LED driver and lens cover available
• Heavy duty, high temperature silicone rubber gaskets
• Thermal shock and impact resistant clear or frosted glass one piece lens with captive fasteners
• Yoke bracket is designed to accommodate traditional Areamaster brackets and slipfitters for easy retrofit
• Slip-fitters and mounting brackets available for easy pole or wall mounting
