ASCO 342 solenoid valves are 4/2 way direct operated, slide disc, single /dual solenoid valves.

ASCO 342 Solenoid Valves features

• Brass solenoid valve types suited to control double acting pneumatic actuators
• Direct lift solenoid valves have spring loaded sliding resilients for absolute tight shut-off
• Solenoid valves with integrated pilot and slide disc mechanism
• No minimum operating pressure required for valve
• Differential Pressure : 0 – 9 bar [1 bar = 100kPa]
• Maximum Viscosity : 65cST (mm²/s)
• Response Times : 20 – 40 ms

ATEX & IECEx valves are available using ASCO 342 solenoids approved to EN 13463-1 for hazardous area applications.

EXPLANATION OF TEMPERATURE RANGE

Valve Temperature Range : the temperature range (TS) of the solenoid valve is determined by the selected sealing material, the temperature range for proper operation of the valve and according to the fluid (eg steam).

Operator Ambient Temperature Range : determined by power level and safety code.

Total Temperature Range : the total temperature of the solenoid valve is determined by both the limitations of the above.
