The ATX FN Series of heavy duty nonmetallic fluorescent light fittings, manufactured by Appleton ATX, are available as a standard version or with an automatic battery backup system. The battery backup system can provide up to 3 hours of emergency lighting in hazardous area zones and explosive atmospheres in the event of a power failure.

These fluorescent light fittings offer excellent resistance to corrosion and are a suitable hazardous area lighting option to use in Zones 2, 21 and 22 hazardous locations.  ATX FN Series are often used in oil refineries, petrochemical facilities, pulp and paper mills, food processing plants, warehouses, underground tunnels and other manufacturing facilities. The high impact resistant housing and wind profile make the FN Series fluorescent light fittings ideal for use in both extreme offshore and onshore hazardous zone environments.

• Light fittings available for both armoured and unarmoured cable
• Vibration resistant spring loaded lampholders for Bi-pin (G13) or mono-pin (Fa6) versions
• Central opening with release system to prevent damage to fluorescent light fitting
• Hinged parabolic reflector for a high lumen output efficiency
• Corrosion-resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester body and hinged polycarbonate lens
• High impact resistance housing – Impact resistance: 20 Joules – IK10
• The latch assembly and elastomer gasket seals against dust and water ingress – Ingress Protection Rating: IP66/67
• Ambient Temperature from -40°C to +55 °C (-40° F to +131 °F)
• Electronic multi-tap ballast 110 to 254 Vac/Vdc +/- 10% 50/60 Hz, for global applications
• High power factor electronic ballast (>0.95)
• EOL (End Of Life) protection in accordance to the latest EN/IEC 60079-7 standard
• Also available with electronic ballast 220/240 Vac/Vdc +/- 10% 50/60 Hz
