VEGA VEGASON 63 ultrasonic level sensor provides continuous level measurement of liquids or bulk solids.
VEGASON 63 level sensor is a favoured solution for applications such as measuring liquids in storage tanks or open basins and detecting bulk solids in small to average sized vessels.
The level sensor offers maintenance free operation thanks to using a non-contact measuring principle.

VEGASON 63 Level Sensor Hazardous area Certifications
VEGASON 63 ultrasonic level sensor is available with hazardous area certifications to meet ATEX & IECEx directives for Zone 1 and Zone 2 installations.
VEGA level sensors are suitable for use in hazardous areas and their instruments also have various ship approvals such as e.g. DNV, GL, LRS or ABS.
VEGA LEVEL SENSOR – VEGASON 63 FEATURES
FunctioN
Short ultrasonic pulses (18kHz to 70 kHz) are emitted by the traducer in the same direction as the product so the pulses are reflected from the product surface and then received back by the tranducer.
Materials
The wetted parts of the instrument are made of PVDF. The process seal is made of EPDM.
Housings
The level sensor housings are available as double chamber version in plastic, stainless steel or aluminium with protection ratings up to IP66/IP67.
ELECTRONICS
VEGA sensors are available in different electronics versions. Apart from the two-wire electronics with 4 … 20 mA/HART, there are two pure digital versions with Profibus PA and Foundation Fieldbus possible as well as one version for connection to a signal conditioning instrument.

VEGA LEVEL SENSORS – veGASON
VEGASON level sensors provide non contact level measurement for bulk solids and liquids mainly designed for simple applications. In ultrasonic level measurement, ultrasonic pulses are directed towards the medium and reflected back.
