Ex d Hazardous Area Control Panels
A flameproof Ex d control panel is explosion protected by an enclosure which prevents the ignition of potentially explosive gases in hazardous area Zones 1 and Zone 2. The explosion protection concept of Ex d is to prevent the propagation of an internal explosion to the surrounding explosive atmosphere, and protecting the internal components from the environment, humidity, dirt, dust or water.
