Hazardous Area Drum Heating Jackets

The WEXHD series of drum heating jackets are used for protection against frost, temperature maintenance and process heating in the temperature range from -40 °C to +200 °C.

Together with Winkler, Thorne & Derrick can offer a wide range of drum heater jackets with ATEX certification for safe use in potentially explosive atmospheres, including Zone 1 & Zone 2 hazardous areas.

Depending on the application, different amounts of heat are introduced to keep the contents at an optimum processing temperature. The robust design and high quality materials and components ensure a safe and reliable operation of the drum container heating.

The even heat distribution provided by the ATEX Drum heaters ensures optimal heating performance and prevents cold spots. They can be easily attached to various containers and are user-friendly. The two integrated temperature sensors enable precise temperature control and accurate control of the heating processes.
