Flameproof ATX FD Series cylindrical fluorescent light fittings manufactured by Appleton ATX can be installed in hazardous areas zones designated as Zone 1, Zone 2,  Zone 21 and Zone 22. The design of this flameproof lighting product along with its high degree of corrosion resistance, make them an ideal light fitting to provide hazardous area lighting for indoor or outdoor areas that are exposed to dirt, water, moisture and corrosive conditions.

Explosion proof and flameproof light fittings are typically used in petrochemical facilities, underground tunnels, oil refineries, pulp and paper mills, painting, sewage and water treatment facilities, warehouses, and other general manufacturing facilities.

• Appleton ATX FD Series allows quick and easy installation of fluorescent lighting fixtures with 2G11 or Bi-pin G13 lamp holders
• Light fittings are supplied with an energy efficient and self inducting ferromagnetic ballast on a removable gear tray
• Feature easy connection to wire and disconnect with plug-in terminal blocks
• Supplied with an external and internal ground/earth connection
• Easy access to lamps through threaded entry cap. The light fittings are available as standard duty or with emergency battery back-up
• Supplied with O-ring for improved ingress protection – IP Rating: IP66/68
• Light fitting is supplied with one M20 blanking plug
• Impact resistant borosilicate glass sealed tube – Impact Resistance Rating: IK08
• 3 lamp versions: 2 x 58 Watts | 2 x 36 Watts | 2 x 18 Watts
