ASCO 316 Solenoid Valve – Pilot Valve.

ASCO 316 solenoid valves are 3/2 way direct operated pilot valves.

ASCO 316 Solenoid Valves features

• Brass and stainless steel bodied high flow pilot valves with two spring return floating diaphragms for larger single actuators
When externally piloted, loss of electrical power or auxiliary air exhausts air from the actuator and shifts process valve to its original position
Solenoid valves handle high pressure 3-way applications
No minimum operating pressure required for valve
Differential Pressure : 0 / 1,0 – 10 bar [1 bar = 100kPa]
Response Times : 40 – 120 ms

ATEX & IECEx valves are available using ASCO 316 solenoids approved to EN 13463-1 for hazardous area applications.

EXPLANATION OF TEMPERATURE RANGE

Valve Temperature Range : the temperature range (TS) of the solenoid valve is determined by the selected sealing material, the temperature range for proper operation of the valve and according to the fluid (eg steam).

Operator Ambient Temperature Range : determined by power level and safety code.

Total Temperature Range : the total temperature of the solenoid valve is determined by both the limitations of the above.
