Chromalox RAR-EX
Chromalox RAR-EX convection heaters are designed to be used in harsh, industrial applications requiring equipment certified for hazardous locations. They have a rugged, corrosion resistant metal sheathed element and coated steel fins that can withstand both wet and corrosive environments.
These Ex d flameproof heaters are ATEX certified for use in areas which come within IIC gas groups for Zone 1 and Zone 2. Chromalox RAR-EX convection heaters have an ingress protection rating of IP55 which prevents moisture and dust from penetrating the terminal enclosure.
The low watt density heating element allows for use in ambient temperatures of up to 40°C (104°F), while still maintaining the required temperature classification
All RAR-EX flameproof heaters are supplied with floor mounting brackets.
