Ex e Terminal Boxes stainless steel (Return flange)

The FXLS series of hazardous area terminal boxes, manufactured by Pepperl+Fuchs can be equipped with various quantities and types of terminals, cable glands. Any custom configuration, including combinations of terminals and controls can be added to suit the needs of the end user – Contact us for details.

Enclosures are manufactured from electropolished, 316L grade stainless steel as standard.  This is to provide excellent resistance to tarnishing and corrosion.

All FXLS enclosures feature a return flange sealing method which prevents accumulated dirt, dust and moisture from entering the enclosure when the hinged lid is opened.

This surface finish on the durable stainless steel means that FXLS terminal boxes are ideally suited to meet hygienic requirements valid in pharmaceutical and food processing plants.

These ATEX terminal boxes and enclosures are certified for operation in temperatures between –50 °C and +120 °C can be used in many different applications as a replacement for stainless steel.
