We would like to express our gratitude to Eltherm for hosting Thorne & Derrick at their headquarters in Burbach, Germany. This visit further solidified our strategic partnership, which we established last year.

Custom Engineered Heating Solutions –the three-day technical product training session provided our team with an in-depth understanding of Eltherm’s comprehensive range of electrical heat tracing products, systems, and solutions. The training was delivered by relevant product managers and struck the perfect balance between practical and theoretical knowledge. We also appreciated the opportunity to tour their impressive production facility.

Experts in Innovation – One of the highlights of the trip was the detailed guide to the Eltherm Designer ATEX Software. Developed by Peter Schmidt and his team over 13 years, this software provides a powerful tool for calculating, selecting, and planning electrical heat tracing systems and solutions for vessels and tanks. We found the software to be incredibly user-friendly and a valuable resource for our technical sales engineers.

As a global engineering company with 14 locations across 5 continents, Eltherm is well-positioned to serve international markets and develop complete solutions for processes in production, storage, handling, and transport.

We would like to extend special thanks to Daniel Eichert for facilitating the trip, Heike Ritter for her hospitality, and the product managers and heat tracing experts who shared their knowledge and expertise with us. These individuals included Reimund Lotz, Frank Vogel, Thomas Stuff, Florian Duchard, Peter Schmidt, Markus Pfeifer, Martin Rings, and John Miller.

We are excited to apply the knowledge gained from this training session to comprehensively support our clients in the specification, design, and supply of reliable electrical heat tracing systems.
