The ATX TCH Series of Increased Safety Flashlights, manufactured by Appleton ATX, are designed for use as task-specific portable hazardous area lighting. Rated for use in locations exposed to hazardous gases, dusts or vapours, the nonmetallic housing, which is anti-static, can withstand harsh mining conditions and physical abuse making it ideal for use in mines, oil and gas process as well as chemical plants.

The Increased Safety Flashlights halogen lamps and precision optics provide bright and even light for more focused tasks. The TCH2 model also includes an additional, wide-angle incandescent lamp for more general lighting that can be used both independently or together with the halogen lamp.

Luminescent features make it easy to find these flashlights in the dark, and integral hooks allow for hands-free operation.

Increased Safety Flashlight Type – TCH1:

  • The flashlights an be used to transmit Morse code
  • Appleton ATX TCH features a hook to enable hands free operation
  • Luminescent switch facilitates for locating the Increased Safety Flashlights in dark
  • The halogen version of the Increased Safety Flashlight provides twice the lumen output of normal incandescent lamps
  • These Increased Safety Flashlights are supplied with 1 lamp
  • Uses R20 or LR20 batteries (not included)

Increased Safety Flashlight Type – TCH2:

  • The two beams can be switched on separately, but not simultaneously
  • Dual optics (one at the end and one on the side) allow a focused beam for safe movement
  • The wide angle side beam is perfect for task specific focused lighting
  • Features a suspension hook for hands free use
  • The functional design allows easy control to enable the user to select one of the two beams with one hand
  • If one lamp should fail, the second lamp will still provide illumination
  • The luminescent ring allows easy location of these Appleton ATX Increased Safety Flashlights in dark areas
  • The Increased Safety Flashlight is stable when placed upright on a horizontal surface
  • A handy pocket clip allows hands free work
  • Increased Safety Flashlights are supplied with one halogen lamp for the main beam and one incandescent lamp for the side beam
  • Supplied with one special opening tool
  • Uses 2 R20 or LR20 batteries (not included)
