The FP-C range of hazardous area heaters manufactured by EXHEAT offers a hazardous area heating solution for oil and similar applications where low heat density is required – the EXHEAT FP-C range of electric heaters are ATEX Certified & Approved and are designed for convenience, the elements can be withdrawnnfor inspection without system drain down. The EXHEAT FP-C range of immersion heaters consists of a single element (or multiple cores) fitted into a mounting flange. A robust Ex d terminal enclosure protects the electrical connections.
This range of electrical heating products are certified for use in hazardous areas where the potentially explosive atmosphere is classified as a Zone 1 or Zone 2 (IIA, IIB, IIC) gas group or a Zone 21 or 22 (IIIA, IIIB, IIIC) dust group according to ATEX.
FP-C heaters are fitted as standard (optional process temperature sensing devices can be incorporated in the form of thermostats, RTD’s or thermocouples) certified according to ATEX to provide safe and reliable heat in hazardous areas industries and applications including boiler equipment, heat transfer systems and oil separators, tank heating and frost protection.
