EXHEAT FXT-M
Inline Encapsulated Thermostats
EXHEAT FXT-M inline encapsulated thermostats have been established as temperature control solution where space is at a premium with the capability of changing small and medium sized heaters to be able to retain a pre-determined ambient temperature for heating and air warming of Zone 1 & Zone 2 (Flammable Gas) and Zone 21 & Zone 22 (Dust) explosive atmospheres according to ATEX Directive.
The FXT-M is composed of a unique electronic potting compound, stainless steel shroud and polyolefin sheath. Robust and lightweight in design a main benefit of the thermostat is it requires minimal maintenance.
Similar to the FXT-DR and FXT-DI thermostats the FXT-M can be linked with the FX hazardous area compact enclosure heaters designed specifically for frost protection, anti-condensation and temperature control – operating in ambient temperatures up to +80°C.
Alternatively, when supplied with up to 10m of cable, the FXT-M can be installed to control any electrical item inside a cabinet or enclosure.
