Howden ‘Mh’ Heaters features
- Specifically designed to work as a boiler in Building Services heating applications
- Range of loadings from 12kW to 60kW, three phase. Units can be linked in parallel or series to obtain higher outputs
- Available in Mild Steel or Copper vessels. Suitable for use in open systems (copper) and closed systems (copper or mild steel)
- Fitted with FE (fixed rod element type) heaters
- The enclosure can be rated to IP41 or IP55
- The shell is insulated with glass fibre insulation protected with a robust Plastisol casing
- All standard models are fitted with a control thermostat and over-temperature safety thermostat
- Nicalloy 825 elements with watts densities less than 9 W/cm² (60 W/In²) offering improved corrosion reistance to very hard or aggressive waters. Reduced watts densities are available for alternative applications
- All units are fitted with a pressure releif valve as standard
- Suitable for either stage control or thyristor control
- Maximum working pressure of 6 bar
