Airlamps for Zone 1, Zone 2 Hazardous Area LightingÂ
Wolf Turbolite are airlamps for safe use in hazardous area Zone 1 & 2 (Gas, Vapour & Mist Explosive Atmospheres) – T&D are Approved Distributors for the Wolf Lighting including handlamps, torches, headtorches and floodlights.
Wolf Turbolite airlamps are able to offe suitable lighting alternative solution to low voltage lighting in wet conditions. In particular for applications in the oil and petrochemical industries such as tank cleaning and pipeline inspections where flammable gases and vapours can accumulate in confined spaces.
The Turbolite airlamps all have bay light fitting comprising a ball glass and protective polycarbonate dome to provide all-round general purpose illumination. Hooks are also present so the airlamps can be suspended in the work area or attached to a folding tripod. They must all use an anti-static hose to prevent the generation of unsafe levels of static electricity.
Airlamps For Hazardous Areas
Wolf Turbolite airlamp provides reliable and versatile hazardous area lighting – the airlamps utilise tungsten halogen technology as a light source and are used for safe lighting in hazardous area Zones 1 and Zones 2 (potentially explosive gas atmospheres) (IIA, IIB & IIC Groups) with T4 temperature classification.
