Wolf Micro & Mini Torches are ATEX certified torches for safe use in hazardous area Zone 0,1 & 2 (Gas, Vapour & Mist Explosive Atmospheres) and Zone 20, 21 & 22 (Dust Explosive Atmospheres) – T&D are Approved Distributors for the Wolf Lighting including handlamps, torches, headtorches and floodlights.

The Wolf Micro & Mini torches have an ergonomic design and are constructed from high quality thermoplastic resin, with excellent impact and chemical resistance and the polycarbonate lens is set-back within the lens ring to minimise risk of damage.

All models of the Wolf Micro & Mini torches have a lanyard hole (M-10 Micro supplied with neck cord), an integral pocket clip for secure retention and to prevent roll on a flat surface, and a push-button for single-handed switching, which is shrouded to guard against accidental operation. All models are certified IP67, sealed against water/dust ingress.

The M-10 Micro, M-40 and M-60 Mini torches use an LED light source and are approved for Category 1 equipment for use in Zones 0, 1 and 2 and the M-20 Mini torch uses a Xenon filament bulb and is approved as Category 2 equipment for use in Zones 1 and 2.

ATEX Torches For Hazardous Areas

Wolf Micro & Mini torches provides reliable and versatile hazardous area lighting according to both ATEX Directive and IECEx standards – the torches utilise LED and Xenon technology as a light source and are used for safe lighting in hazardous area Zones 1 and Zones 2 (potentially explosive gas) and Zones 21 and Zones 22 dust atmospheres (IIIA & IIIB Groups) with T4/T5 temperature classification. Zone 0 and 20 version torches are available.
