StuvEx Safe-Ground CR1/65 for Hazardous Areas & Explosion Protection 

Safe-Ground CR1/65 cable reel for use with Safe-Ground earthing clamps has been specially developed to provide an effective, low-resistance connection between movable objects and the multipoint earthing control systems, to safely divert any static electricity.

The ATEX cable reels are supplied as component of the StuvEx static earthing system and can be combined with any of the control units and clamps of the Safe-Ground product range for use in hazardous areas with potentially explosive atmospheres.

Specially designed and developed for the Safe-Ground earthing systems, the cable reel offers the following advantages:

CR1/65 Cable Reel Operation

The Safe-Ground CR1/65 cable reel is equipped with brass slip rings and special brushes, so that a minimum impedance is guaranteed. As part of the StuvEx earthing control system, an effective, low-resistance (< 10 Ohm) and continuous connection is realised in this way, fully in accordance with IEC/TS 60079-32-1.

High ease of use for winding and unwinding the cable is achieved by a cable guide with self-lubricating rollers. A blocking mechanism provides a stop every 50 cm. In addition, the cable reel is equipped with a winding mechanism so that the cable is wound automatically after use. The pivoting bracket provides a wide range of use.
