The RETTBOX® range provides an ideal solution for power and compressed air supplies to light goods, fire and rescue vehicles, offering automatic ejection of the coupler socket upon starting the vehicle.

RETTBOX® S is the brand new device of the RETTBOX® range by MARECHAL® ELECTRIC. The best-in-class industrial socket-outlet with automatic self-ejection providing power to all equipment on-board a vehicle.

RETTBOX® S 20 A / 32 A

MARECHAL® connectors have spring-loaded contacts with silver-nickel tips. This ensures exceptional connection quality and eliminates wear and tear from arc flash and repeated
operations over time, typically seen in pin and sleeve technology. Silver, even when oxidised, guarantees optimal conductivity. Contact quality is maintained even in the presence of vibrations and temperature changes, thanks to the tight pressure of the spring-loaded contacts.

The system comprises a flush-mounted glass-reinforced thermoplastic box recessed into the vehicle body frame. The system includes a sliding cover as well as a MARECHAL® plug and socket device with silver-nickel butt contacts.

When the vehicle is starting up, an electric lifting magnet sends an impulse to the trigger hook of the socket which is automatically ejected.

RETTBOX® S (from 20 A to 32 A) offers load-breaking capacity and automatic ejection upon start-up of the vehicle. It is also available with air, to power the pneumatic equipment when the vehicle is stopped, particularly the brake system.
