The HIH range of hazardous area thermostats manufactured by EXHEAT are designed to accommodate most makes of head mounted process transmitter or termination block. EXHEAT Industrial promotes the use of its preferred range of WIKA® temperature transmitters, however empty enclosures can be supplied or, on special request, other makes of transmitter such as Siemens®, Rosemount® or Yokogawa® can be installed.

This range of electrical heating products are certified for use in hazardous areas where the potentially explosive atmosphere is classified as a Zone 1 or Zone 2 (IIA, IIB, IIC) gas group or Zone 21 or 22 (IIIA, IIIB, IIIC) dust groups according to ATEX.
