Wolf R-50 & R-55 Rechargeable Torches are ATEX certified torches for safe use in hazardous area Zone 0, 1 & 2 (Gas, Vapour & Mist Explosive Atmospheres) and Zone 20, 21 & 22 (Dust Explosive Atmospheres) – T&D are Approved Distributors for the Wolf Lighting including handlamps, torches, headtorches and floodlights.

The Wolf R-50 & R-55 rechargeable torches are compact and lightweight right-angle torches which are extremely robust and reliable, with proven shock protection, even at sub zero temperatures. The torch has is fitted with a rubber armoured lens ring and end cap and has a scratch & chemical attack resistance glass lens with an IP67 enclosure.

The Wolf R-50 & R-55 torches are low maintenance with quick and easy parts replacement, a full spares service is offered for all internal/external fittings, and the LED light source is expected to last the product’s lifetime.

Vehicle and mains voltage charger options offer a rapid recharge time of only 1.5hrs for 90% capacity, plus the mountable ‘quick’ charger is configured as a torch holder, with ‘snap in/snatch out’ function, for quick release but secure retention.

ATEX Torches For Hazardous Areas

Wolf Rechargeable torches provides reliable and versatile hazardous area lighting according to both ATEX Directive and IECEx standards – the torches utilise LED technology as a light source and are used for safe lighting in hazardous area Zones 1 and Zones 2 (potentially explosive gas) and Zones 21 and Zones 22 dust atmospheres (IIIA, IIIB & IIIC Groups) with T4 temperature classification. Zone 0 and 20 version torches are available.
