EAC is the Mark of Conformity for Customs Unions (CU) Countries – the GOST safety mark has been replaced by this new conformity mark called the EurAsian Conformity Mark or EAC.

The EAC declaration and the EAC certificate in conformity with the technical regulations TR CU of the Eurasian Economic Union are EAC Certification documents issued by independent accredited certification bodies.

Such organisations perform their function through laboratories accredited to the public agencies in charge of the supervision of metrology and standardisation in the the countries of the EAC Economic Union.
