Electrical Heater Application & Benefits  | The portable electric fan heaters with ATEX Certification were selected after careful competitor evaluation to provide comfort heating to flammable workplace locations with potentially explosive atmospheres. The manufacturing bays, classified as hazardous areas, required sufficient levels of air warming to overcome low ambient temperatures and maintain labour productivity through the provision of adequate levels of comfort heating for the workforce. Additionally, the ATEX heaters will complement an aging and legacy electrical heating system which is nearing obsolescence and accelerate the curing and drying manufacturing process. The electric heaters were supplied with additional ducting to enable targeted and directed control of the air flow to improve energy efficiency and maximise the heat output.
