EXHEAT FXE hazardous area compact enclosure heaters provide hazardous area certified heating and air warming for Zone 1, Zone 2 (flammable gas) & Zone 21 and Zone 22 (dust) locations and explosive atmospheres according to ATEX Directive.

The EXHEAT FXE range of flameproof finned extruded enclosure heaters is designed specifically for frost protection, anti-condensation and temperature control.

EXHEAT FXE50 compact enclosure heaters can be provided with temperature ratings of T3 and T4 (T Classes) – the enclosure heaters have been certified to operate in an ambient temperature range -50°C to +40°C for T4 class heaters, -50°C to +60°C and +80°C for T3 class heaters.

To ensure that the FXE does not exceed above its ambient temperature limits, it is recommended that an FXT thermostat be integrated into the design to help safely de-energise the electrical heaters when the specified temperature limit is reached.

EXHEAT FXE hazardous area compact enclosure heaters are certified to meet ATEX equipment directive and IECEx standards and can be vertically mounted by bracket or rail.

The FXE range is certified for use in hazardous areas where the atmosphere is classified as Zone 1 or 2 (Gas groups IIA, IIB, IIC) and Zone 21 or 22 (Dust groups IIIA, IIIB, IIIC).
