EXHEAT FXT-M-20 inline encapsulated thermostats have been established as a temperature control solution where space is minimal. With the capability to change small and medium sized heaters to maintain an ambient temperature in explosive atmospheres.

These thermostats are ideal for heating and air warming in hazardous areas where the atmosphere is classified as Zone 1 or 2 (Gas groups IIA, IIB, IIC) and Zone 21 or 22 (Dust groups IIIA, IIIB, IIIC).

The FXT-M range is composed of a unique electronic potting compound, stainless steel shroud and polyolefin sheath. Robust and lightweight in design a main benefit of the thermostat is it requires minimal maintenance.

Similar to the FXT-DR and FXT-DI thermostats the FXT-M can be used with the FX hazardous area compact enclosure heaters designed specifically for frost protection, anti-condensation and temperature control. Capable of operating in ambient temperatures up to +80°C.

Alternatively, when supplied with up to 10 metres of cable, the thermostat can be installed to control any electrical item inside a cabinet or enclosure.
