EXHEAT FXT2 hazardous area thermostats provide smart and energy-efficient temperature management for hazardous area certified heating and air warming for Zone 1 & Zone 2 (Flammable Gas) and Zone 21 & Zone 22 (Dust) locations and explosive atmospheres according to ATEX Directive.

The FXT ATEX thermostats are designed to accompany the FX hazardous area compact enclosure heaters, FXE and FXS range. They can also be used for many standalone applications.

Thermostats are additionally certified for use in hazardous areas where the atmosphere is classified as a Zone 1 or 2 (IIA, IIB, IIC) Gas Group or a Zone 21 or 22 (IIIA, IIIB, IIIC) Dust Group – view our complete range of electrical heaters for process and temperature maintenance applications in potentially explosive atmosphere industries.

The FXT Flameproof Air Sensing thermostats are designed to be used alongside the FXE compact enclosure heaters – featuring the FXE’s radial-fin profile, and are mounted vertically by bracket or rail. Standalone FXT Flameproof Air Sensing thermostats are supplied with cables fitted through certified cable glands for termination.
