The HFT range of hazardous area thermostats manufactured by EXHEAT are supplied in weatherproof or flameproof enclosures to complement their heaters. The HFT is designed for the temperature control of work storage areas, in conjunction with a hazardous area air heater.

This range of electrical heating products are certified for use in hazardous areas where the potentially explosive atmosphere is classified as a Zone 1 or Zone 2 (IIA, IIB, IIC) gas group according to ATEX.

EXHEAT HFT air sensing thermostats are certified for use in hazardous areas and have a c hoice of control range: 0 to 25°C (CSA only), 0 to 40°C or 0 to 60°C options suitable for industries and applications including onshore and offshore, junction boxes, motor enclosures, instrumentation cabinets and process temperature measurement.
