Fisher easy-e ED Universal Globe Valves – Sliding Stem Valves

Fisher easy-e ED Universal Globe Valves are part of the sliding stem valve range that have balanced plugs and cage-guided trim for all general applications with process temperatures up to 593°C (1100°F).

The easy-e ED valves are available in sizes ranging from NPS 1 to 30 and pressure ratings up to CL600, with several globe body, sliding-stem configurations, including ED, EAD, and EDR:

  • ED: Globe body sliding-stem valve with push-down-to-close action
  • EAD: Angle body sliding-stem valve with push-down-to-close action
  • EDR: Globe body sliding-stem valve with push-down-to-open action

Fisher easy-e ED product range is available for a wide range of applications, including sulphide and chloride stress-cracking environments common to the oil and gas production industries.

Product Features

  • Compliance with the Clean Air Act—ENVIRO-SEALâ„¢ packing systems provide an improved stem seal to help prevent the loss of process fluid. The ENVIRO-SEAL packing systems feature PTFE, Graphite ULF, or Duplex packing with live loading for reduced packing maintenance
  • Valve Plug Stability— Rugged cage guiding provides high valve plug stability, which reduces vibration and mechanical noise
  • Balanced Valve Plug Construction— Balanced valve plugs permit the use of smaller, lower-cost Fisher actuators
  • More Flow Capacity for Initial Investment— Streamlined flow passages provide excellent capacities and flow
  • Compliance with European Standards— NPS 1 to 8 valves are available with dimensions specified by EN/DIN standards
  • Sour Service Capability—Materials are available to meet NACE standards
  • Operating Economy—Increased wear resistance provided by standard, hardened stainless steel trim means long service life
  • Maintenance Economy— Trim inventory costs are cut because dimensional standardization permits use of most standard easy-e trim parts. During removal of trim parts, the valve body can stay in the pipeline. The EDR valve also features easy valve access without removing the actuator
