Abtech SX8 Electrical Enclosures

Abtech SX8 hazardous area enclosures are ATEX Certified for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas – the terminal enclosures commonly used as junction boxes are manufactured from stainless steel and available in a full range of depths and sizes.

  • ATEX EEx e (Zone 1 & Zone 2)
  • ATEX EEx nA (Zone 2)
  • ATEX EEx nR (Zone 2)

The mild steel version of the enclosure (Abtech MSX) is available with a number of paint options (most RAL colours are available) and anti-corrosion finishes – please quote Abtech MSX8 when ordering.

Abtech SX8 electrical enclosures, manufactured from stainless steel, are suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas according to the ATEX Directive – the junction box or electrical enclosure can be populated with cable terminals including Weidmuller, Phoenix and Wago types.
