The RFA-CA range of hazardous area heaters manufactured by EXHEAT offers a hazardous area heating solution for oil and similar applications where low heat density is required. – the EXHEAT RFA-CA range of electric heaters are ATEX Certified & Approved and consists of a single or multiple cartridge elements core fitted into a mounting flange. The EXHEAT RFA-CA range of immersion heaters can be supplied with the terminal box mounted away from the fixing boss/flange for high process temperatures.

This range of electrical heating products are certified for use in hazardous areas where the potentially explosive atmosphere is classified as a Zone 1 or Zone 2 (IIA, IIB, IIC) gas group according to ATEX.

RFA-CA heaters are suitable for ambient temperatures from -40°C to +40°C. A robust flameproof terminal enclosure protects the electrical connections. The heaters are certified according to ATEX to provide safe and reliable heat in hazardous areas industries and applications including boiler equipment, heat transfer systems, oil sumps, oil separators and frost protection.
