marechal ds2 Description
The DS2 Plugs and Sockets, designed by Marechal offer have a rated current of 250A and a maximum voltage of 1000V. Marechal DS2 Decontactors, Plugs & Sockets are IP66/IP67, regardless of whether the plug is connected or the protection lid is closed.
The Marechal DS Plugs & Sockets have an incorporated breaking capacity of AC-22 / AC-23 and have an impact resistant metal casing. Marechal’s DS2 Industrial Plug also features a shock resistance rating of IK10 which means the decontactors are protected against 20 joules of impact or the equivalent to the impact of a 5 kg mass dropped from 400 mm above the impacted surface.
A “Decontactor” Plug & Socket, typically used in industrial settings/hazardous areas (ATEX & IECEx), features an integrated power switch for safe connection and disconnection of electrical equipment. The integrated load-break switch, allows for safe disconnection when under a full load, which is crucial when carrying out maintenance or repairs. The socket outlet installation is designed to be completely safe, with no risk of electrical hazards, guaranteeing operating speed and time efficiency.
