Zone 1 Zone 2 (21/22) Wellglass – ATEX & Flameproof Luminaires – Appleton LDB LDG LDR

Appleton LDB, LDG and LDR series is part of the Zone 1 and Zone 2 (21/22) hazardous area wellglass ATEX lighting range and have a flameproof design that is ideal for use in hazardous locations, such as lighting on refinery sites and oil depots, tank lighting, and general lighting in plants where plastics, paints, thinners and petrochemicals are manufacture.

The ATEX certified wellglass luminaires are designed for a variety of E40 base lamps.

• Luminaire operates in any position subject to lamp type
• Easy and efficient wiring of the hazardous area lighting due to separate Ex e terminal box with wiring onto two captive terminals capacity 6 mm² (2 x 0.009 in²) and two internal earth terminals capacity 6 mm² (0.009 in²)
• External earth terminal capacity 4 mm² (0.006 in²)
• 2 x 20 mm clearance holes through-wire cable entries supplied with one Ex e unarmored cable gland — sealing diameter 6.5 to 14.5 mm (0.26 to 58 in) — and one blanking plug and two M20 locknuts
