Hazardous Area Lighting
The Abtech Alpha is a highly efficient Ex de flameproof floodlight, designed to provide lighting in Zone 1 and Zone 21 hazardous areas. The Zone 1 flameproof floodlight is asymmetric design reducing light, pollution and glare.
This hazardous area floodlight can run either high pressure sodium (HPS) or Metal Halide (MH) lamps using the same control gear. The explosionproof Alpha, manufactured by Abtech, has an easy access lamp chamber for simple and quick lamp replacement. Abtech recommend the use of twin arc lamps.
The explosion proof rated Abtech Alpha features an internal flame path removing the need for routine Ex d physical inspection.
