MEDC LD15 Hazardous Area Beacons
MEDC LD15 | ATEX Beacons
Zone 1 & Zone 2 Hazardous Areas
MEDC LD15 are ATEX Beacons that have been designed for use in potentially Explosive Atmospheres and harsh environmental conditions in ATEX & IECEx Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.
The enclosures of the Hazardous Area Beacons are suitable for use offshore or onshore where light weight combined with corrosion resistance is required and can be ordered from Thorne & Derrick with MEDC call points for integration into fire detection systems in the explosive atmosphere industries.
The housings are manufactured completely from a UV stable glass reinforced polyester.
Stainless steel screws and mounting bracket are available ensuring a totally corrosion free product.
The Eaton MEDC LD15 incorporates a low maintenance, innovative LED array, which has a life of up to 54,000 hours. The low current consumption design of the LED beacon allows an energy efficient solution without compromising light output.
The high output LED beacon with explosion protection concept Ex d can be painted to customers specification and supplied with identification labels.
Contact Thorne & Derrick for customer service, competitive quotations and availability from stock for the MEDC range of sounders, including MEDC LD15, for safe use in hazardous areas with explosive atmospheres.
