MEDC XB11 Hazardous Area Beacons
MEDC XB11 | ATEX BEACONS
ZONE 1 & ZONE 2 HAZARDOUS AREAS
MEDC XB11 are ATEX Beacons that have been designed for use in potentially Explosive Atmospheres and harsh environmental conditions in ATEX & IECEx Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.
The glass reinforced polyester enclosures are suitable for use offshore or onshore, where light weight combined with corrosion resistance is required and can be ordered from Thorne & Derrick with MEDC call points for integration into fire detection systems in the explosive atmosphere industries.
The beacon housing of the ATEX beacon is manufactured completely from a UV stable, glass reinforced polyester. Stainless steel screws and mounting bracket are incorporated ensuring a totally corrosion free product.
The high output hazardous area Xenon beacon with explosion protection concept Ex d can be painted to customer specification and supplied with identification labels.
Contact Thorne & Derrick for customer service, competitive quotations and availability from stock for the MEDC range of sounders, including MEDC XB11, for safe use in hazardous areas with explosive atmospheres.
