ATEX CCTV Camera Stations Zone 1 & Zone 2
Eaton Oxalis EXIR40F are explosion protected, IR nano-stack LED technology, infrared illuminator for use with fixed ATEX CCTV camera stations for use in hazardous areas in onshore, offshore, marine an heavy industrial environments in ATEX & IECEx Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. The illuminator is designed for longevity in harsh environments with minimal maintenance.
This range of illuminators are developed for use with fixed and PTZ camera stations in both hazardous and safe areas. The design criteria was maximizing illumination whilst minimizing power consumption by using the very latest nano-stack LED technology.
The EXIR40F has the integral mounted illuminator so that full pan and tilt functionality remains, including continuous rotation pan. For fixed camera installations, the illuminator is mounted on a chassis and is located along-side the camera station. Power is taken from the camera station and looped to the illuminator.
All illuminators are made from 316L stainless steel, are IP66/67 rated and have a nominal range of 175m depending on ambient conditions, camera technology and object reflectivity. All are switched via an autosensing ambient light sensor or logic switch from the video management system.
