UPR Series 16 Amp Plugs and Sockets manufactured by Appleton ATX are compact, lightweight, strong and corrosion resistant.

The plugs and sockets with ATEX Certification can be used with both onshore and offshore portable and stationery electrical equipment in hazardous areas with corrosive atmospheres and those classed as Zone 1 and 2 and Zone 21 and 22 installations.

  • The receptacles are keyed to accept UPR plugs of the proper voltage
  • Receptacle explosion proof switch for safe use in hazardous areas
  • ATX UPR plugs can be used in non-hazardous IEC 60309-2 sockets
